The Challenge
You will be responsible for developing server-side code, reports, and integrations for our client's web applications and data warehouses. Let us hear from you if you have excellent relational database programming skills and a passion for creating database and backend ETL solutions; experience with SSIS packages for moving data across the enterprise, cleansing, and wrangling data sets from internal and external systems; and proficiency in SSRS reporting.
Requirements
We're looking for candidates with strong leadership and communication skills, who have a proven track record of following through on commitments. The ideal candidate also meets the below criteria.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including SQL queries, SSIS, and SSRS
In-depth understanding of the software development process (design, development, and deployment)
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Teamwork skills with a can-do, problem-solving attitude
Experience with Azure Synapse and/or Data Factory
Responsibilities
Use best practices in database design and development
Create stored procedures to support application development and SSIS package development
Build SSIS packages from scratch for management of data in application databases and data warehouses
Write optimized SQL queries to support ETL and reporting needs
General relational database coding and debugging
Write clean code for new integrations and to improve legacy code
Collaborate with front-end developers to support application requirements
Gather and address technical requirements
Provide training and support to our clients’ internal teams
Work with subject matter experts and technical team members to develop new features
